Cowan was the first homebred puppy that we kept.  He was a very large boy, with the most divine temperament. Cowan was shown to his title and then retired to home life with his mother Myra.  He was a very tolerant boy, always gentle and sweet with puppies that were born here.
Cowan loved to swim, he was a born water dog.  We often took him and Myra to the local lake for a swim.
Cowan sired eight litters. He has a son that won a Specialty Best Exhibit in Show (Open) Krystalcove In Deed (G & V Birch) and he has another son that has won All Breeds Best Exhibit in Show (Championship Show), Al Breeds Runner Up to Best Exhibit in Show andwas also the winner of the Dogzonline Breed and All Breed (Newfoundland) Point Score in 2012 - Australian GRAND CH Seadale Amark Of Luv (Seadale Newfoundlands)

Cowan was born in 1998 and passed away in 2007 from a tumour near his heart.
